Editor-in-Chief
I hold an MRes in Cancer Innovation from Imperial College London and a BSc in Medical Genetics from QMUL. Along the way, my academic journey has been shaped by successes, (many) missed opportunities, hard-earned lessons and experiences I wish I had known how to navigate sooner. Looking back, I realised how much becomes clear only in hindsight. I started How & Me to change that, creating a community where people can learn from one another’s experiences, mistakes and successes, and use those insights while they still matter. There is still so much for me to learn, and that is precisely the point.
How & Me is something we grow through, and build together.
We’re just getting started.

I’m a postgraduate researcher at Imperial College London with a BSc in Medical Genetics. My academic journey has taken me through the highs and the (very real) lows — themissed oportunities, the hard-earned lessons, and the moments I wish someone had told me about earlier.

Looking back on my academic path, I kept noticing the same thing — the mistakes I made, the opportunities I missed, the steps I only recognised as important once I had already passed them. It was only in hindsight that everything became clear.
I started How & Me so that people earlier in their career don’t have to wait for that hindsight. Here, you can learn from the mistakes and the successes of those in the community — and actually use that knowledge while it still matters.
It’s a growing community — and we’re just getting started.
